We took 8 adults and 15 boys to Camp Miakonda in Sylvania for a weekend in November. It was chilly and a bit breezy but the rain stayed away and we had a blast! The boys got to work on a lot of achievements and electives, including making rope (very cool!) They helped with preparing meals (and cleaning up too!) We played football and frisbee, took a hike through the camp and cleaned up the archery range for a service project. For our first trip as a large group I thought it went very well. We learned some things to do differently next time and found some things that worked very well. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
