This year's Pinewood Derby was very exciting! We changed formats this year with a Round Robin schedule that let the boys have more races in about the same time.

We had some very close races in the Bear den and almost a 3-way tie for 1st place. Overall, I thought things went pretty smooth.

This year the boy's voted for the Best in Show award instead of having an adult choose the winner as in year's past. I think they liked this better. We also awarded a new trophy, the Turtle Award, for the slowest derby car.

Thanks to everyone who put in long hours setting up, running and cleaning up this year's Pinewood Derby. Congratulations to all the winners!
