Butterfly Garden

Pack 350 began work on the Butterfly Garden at Haskins Elementary in June 2008.  The garden was beautiful when it was first planted years ago but it had fallen into disrepair after years of neglect.  The school asked the Cub Scouts if we would want to take charge of the garden and renovate it.

Day 1 - June 24, 2008

The boys had a great time pulling up weeds, finding worms and working hard together.  I think the best part for them though might have been taking turns getting inside the back of Mr. Odendahl's pickup truck to scoop out dirt!

We are looking forward to continuing the project and getting some new plants in the ground in the coming months.
