Community Service Project - Butterfly Garden Tue, Jun 23: 6pm - 8pm Haskins Elementary	Come help us clean up the butterfly garden at Haskins Elementary. We will be pulling a lot of weeds and turning up the soil so we can plant some new flowers next month. We will go to Buzzy's for ice cream afterwards.

CANCELLED Bonfire & Sleepover Sat, Jul 12-13: 4pm - 9am Paul & Jen Cowdry's House	Cancelled due to a severe storm that was supposed to be moving into our area on Saturday afternoon. Obviously the weather forecasts were a bit off! We will try to reschedule this for later in the year. Come for the bonfire only or bring a tent and stay overnight - whatever you have time for. We will be playing games and probably working on a belt loop or two. We'll roast hot dogs & marshmallows and maybe play some campfire games.

Community Service Project - Butterfly Garden Tue, Jul 29: 6pm - 8pm Haskins Elementary	Come help us plant the butterfly garden! We have been given some funds by the school to put new plants in the garden before school starts next month. After all the hard work last month the garden is ready to be beautiful again!

Togany Festival Parade Sat, Aug 9: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Otsego High School	The boys have been invited to march in the parade by the Tontogany Boy Scout Troop #347. The parade will begin at approximately 12:30pm at the High School and they will march through town. The parade should last about 30-45 minutes. The Class-A uniform is required for this event.
Red Cross Emergency Preparedness Event Sat, Aug 9: 9am - 5pm Owens Community College Center for Emergency Preparedness $7 per person, includes lunch & snack	Participate in activities, see demonstrations of emergency response equipment and first responder skills, complete advancement and attend free training sessions. Pre-registration ends July 18th but walk-ins are accepted. First 600 get a Home CPR Instruction kit from the Red Cross. Available for download: informational flyer, campus map, registration form
Back to the Pack Picnic Sun, Aug 24: 5pm-8pm Lusher Park, Haskins	Welcome back from a busy summer! We will cook and play games at the park and get to know some new friends too. There will also be a short parent's meeting while the kids play to give everyone an update for the coming year and to answer any questions you might have.

Pack Meeting Tue, Sep 16: 6:30pm - 8:00pm St. Paul Lutheran Church	This is our first Pack meeting. We will be kicking off our Popcorn Fundraising sale too. We will have games to play and the boys will make slides for their neckerchiefs. While the boys play, parents and leaders will have a meeting to catch everyone up on the upcoming year and to answer questions you may have.

Popcorn Sale Officially Begins Fri, Sep 19th	This is the date you can officially begin to sell popcorn! Please do not begin selling prior to this date, however there is nothing wrong with telling people that you will be selling popcorn. You just can't accept orders until this date.
Popcorn Show 'n Deliver Sun, Sep 21: 2pm - 6pm Haskins Elementary	This will be our first big Popcorn event of the year. Meet at Haskins Elementary at 2pm. Parents may choose to go with us or you can drop your son off (Tiger Cubs must have a parent attend). We will try to hit as many houses in Haskins as possible. Your son will earn money for his Scout account and can win prizes too! Contact Mike if you have questions!

Toledo Rockets Scout Night Sat, Sep 27: 7pm $6 adult / $2 youth (10 minimum per group) $1 patch	We do not have enough interested people to qualify for the special pricing. We only need to have 10 tickets to qualify. Available for download: informational flyer page 1, informational flyer page 2

Wood District Family Campout Sat, Oct 4-5: Opening Ceremony at 12:45pm Wood County Historical Center $7 per scout	A campout for the whole family. We are not participating in this event as a Pack, however individual families may attend as they choose. You can join in with another Pack's campfire for cooking. Scouts who attend will earn several belt loops including Archery and Ultimate, as well as completing many rank achievements. Each family is responsible for their own food. Breakfast Sunday for those who stay and help clean up. Registration deadline is Tue, Sep 30th. Please contact Mike if you would like more information or to register. Fall Star Party Sat, Oct 4-5: 4pm $13 per person $21 after Sept 19	Excellent opportunity for star gazing. Check in at 4pm, dinner provided at 6pm. 9pm to 2am sci-fi videos and viewings. Breakfast at 8:30am. Patch included. Available for download: informational flyer

Jamboree on the Air Sat, Oct 18: 10am - 4pm Camp Miakonda	Annual Scouting and amateur radio. Scouts from all around the world will be on the air and if conditions are right you can contact over 100 different countries. An on-site satellite station will attempt contact with the international space station! Available for download: informational flyer

Pack Meeting - Popcorn Sale Ends Tue, Oct 28: 6:30pm - 8:00pm St. Paul Lutheran Church	Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Last month, we had 24/27 boys attend the meeting. We will be handing out new awards, having our first uniform inspection, collecting den dues for the first time, taking a group photo and having a Pack 350 Election! Remember to bring your popcorn orders as this is the last day of the sale and all orders are due! If you can't attend - please let Mike know.

Campout at Camp Miakonda Fri, Nov 7 - Sun, Nov 9 Camp Miakonda	The campout is full. We will have 8 adults and 16 boys attending. Thank you to everyone who is coming! We are looking forward to a good time and more events like this in the future! You should all have emails with the final details. Please make sure you have turned in the required forms ASAP.
Community Service Project - Raking Leaves Fri, Nov 14: 4pm Church St in Haskins	We will be raking leaves for an elderly man in town who is confined to a wheel chair. His name is Mr. Walker. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Haskins Village hall at 4pm. Please bring a leaf rake. We should be there about 30-45 minutes. Thanks for your help!
Father-Son Cake Bake Sat, Nov 15: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Haskins Elementary	This date is confirmed and is one week earlier than originally planned. Float Building Sun, Nov 16 Michaelis house	We will be working on our "Cub Scout Time Machine" float for the BG Holiday parade next week. We will only need 3 or 4 more helpers so please contact Mike if you are interested in helping build.
BG Holiday Parade Sat, Nov 22 Bowling Green	We will be riding a float in the BG Holiday parade. Our float will be a "Cub Scout Time Machine". We're meeting at the Michaelis house on Sunday the 16th to work on the float. We will have more information at the Pack meeting on where we will be meeting for the parade. Pack Meeting Tue, Dec 16: 6:30pm - 8:00pm St. Paul Lutheran Church	We are all set with a special guest coming to visit. The boys will be sitting with Santa and also making a craft and decorating their own cookies.
Religious Emblem Classes Sun, Dec 28: 6:45pm - 9:00pm Mon, Dec 29: 6:45pm - 9:00pm St. Mark's Lutheran Church 315 South College Bowling Green, OH 43402 $10 registration fee per scout	St. Mark's Cub Scout Pack 345 is hosting the God & Me (1st - 3rd grade) and God & Family (4th - 5th grade) religious emblem classes during the Christmas break. These programs are Protestant-based and speak to Christian people. Religious emblems are not scout awards but emphasize a scout's duty or service to God. You must attend all 4 dates, these two plus the two in January. Please disregard the registration deadline date.
